3. Church Flowers - The flowers today are provided by Mrs S. Harding (Oswestry) in memory

4. Response Forms to the Treasurer. As your follow up to the service in which we were
asked to consider our giving, could you please return your response form to the treasurer,
if you have not already done so.
5. Afternoon Tea Friday 25th July 2.45pm to 4.45pm.
As a follow up to our Christmas Lunch we are inviting guests from Help Link and the
Church for Afternoon Tea. Donations of sandwiches and cakes would be most appreciated
6. A Crèche for the Church Meeting. In order that we can provide for the children could
you please book a place(s) on the sheet on the notice board outside room 2?
7. Junior Church in August. We want to offer a Junior Church during August and we are
ooking for one adult to supervise the children’s activity on Sunday 3 August
8. 21st Century Parents – we are running a course to encourage and support young parents
on Thursday afternoons, 26 June, 3 and 10 July at 1.30 – 2.45 pm. Volunteers are needed to
staff a crèche. If you can help please use the sign up sheet out side room 2.
9. Meeting for Pastoral Carers – Thursday 3rd July, 7.30 Coffee Lounge.
10. Junior Church in August. We want to offer a Junior Church during August and
we are looking for one adult to supervise the children’s activity on Sunday 3 August.
11. “REFORM” (the official magazine of the URC) is being re-launched in July with a
new look and a new feel to it (following research into what members want to read).
There should be enough free copies for everyone attending the services at the end of
June. Hopefully, having read it, many of you will want to order it for next year – further
details of how to do that will follow in September/October.
12. Plants for Sale - Proceeds for our Quiet Garden
As plants come into flower, they will be for sale each week during coffee time
in the hall. Please return plant pots to Avril. If you have any spare pots, please
leave under pigeon holes.
